I invited Mr. Akira Amari, Chairperson of the LDP’s Research Commission on the Tax System, as a guest speaker of my supporters’ gathering which was held in my electoral district, Fukuoka Prefecture, under the strict regulations and arrangements to prevent the coronavirus infections on August 6. Thanks to his excellent speech, it was a great success. Since the day marked the 75th anniversary of the atomic bombing of Hiroshima by the US, all the people who participated in the gathering offered a silent prayer for the souls of the victims. Subsequently, Mr. Amari delivered a speech. At first, he conveyed to the audience the LDP headquarters’ message that Harada has already been designated as an official candidate for the forthcoming general election of members of the House of Representatives by the LDP headquarters. In addition, he gave them a brief sketch of my career, and his expectation for my future performances. Furthermore, he explained his idea of Japan’s post-COVID economy. Lastly, I expressed my determination to do the best for the victory of the forthcoming general election.
After this gathering was over, the managing staff of the major organizations, which recommended me as a capable candidate, gathered together in a separate room to exchange opinions and questions with Mr. Amari, and he promised to consider the matters positively and consult the staff when he gets back to the LDP headquarters.
