President Trump seemed to be angry or at least, disappointed at China.

The U.S. President Trump is said to have been angry or at least, disappointed at China when he saw satellite photographs showing some of Chinese vessels’ transferring petroleum to North Korean vessels at sea. In case of its recurrence, the President is also said to have referred to the U.S. trade policy to be severe with China as a retaliatory measure. It is an open secret that Russia is also supplying petroleum with North Korea.
Illegal actions like these operations against the UN Security Council’s resolution have been occurring frequently, although President Trump has endeavored to impose economic sanctions on North Korea. Therefore, economic sanctions on North Korea have not been executed effectively.
President Trump has been expecting China and Russia to take various actions particularly, economic sanctions against North Korea. However, when we consider these countries’ ideology toward North Korea, the President should not rely on them excessively. Formally, the President seems to be received well by the Chinese government, but sometimes, his behaviors toward China seem to be even painful. More important thing for the sake of the U.S. is to formulate its own strategy. Then, Japan and South Korea, if possible, will support it fully.
